Zoflora Concentrated Disinfectant - Review

I was very kindly sent some Zoflora Concentrated Disinfectant to test out and review. I'm always looking for an effective disinfectant that I can be confident is doing what it says it should do and disinfecting. Zoflora kills 99.9% of bacteria and and viruses but without the usual chemical scent of other disinfectants.

I'd not heard of Zoflora prior to being contacted so was eager to see how effective the product would be.  After initially thinking that this was just a sample size I was sent, I then did the sensible thing and found that it's meant to be diluted (I guess the clue is in the title...concentrated!).

You can see that it can be used neat but my use for it in this instance was to be a spray disinfectant and I can assure you a little goes a long way.  Zoflora is actually a very versatile disinfectant and can be used in various different ways as you can see shown on the box which also gives you great value for money!

I had a massive kitchen cleaning blitz with this on Friday, armed with my sponge and marigolds (sexy I know) and my diluted Zoflora I was ready to tackle to extractor fan hood. I was seriously impressed with just how quickly and efficiently Zoflora cleaned off the grease and grime, usually with something like Flash or Mr. Muscle it takes me a few goes but I only had to spray it on and wipe it off when using Zoflora and it left it so shiny. Also it smells lovely! I was sent the Lavender fragrance and it's really nice, I kept getting a waft of fragrance when I walked into the kitchen later on. I'm now looking for things to clean so I can continue to smell the scent!

It's such a great product and I've got loads left so it's going to last me ages. Although I said I'd never heard of it, according to the website it's widely available at various stockists (such as large supermarkets . Looking online there are massive price differences ranging from £1.33 to £11.00 for the same product so i'm not totally sure what the RRP (recommended retail price) is! I found it for £1.33 at Tescos though which is a bargain.

Has anyone used Zoflora? How do you think it compares to other similar products available?

  1. I am such a fan of Zoflora!!! It's like the unsung hero of the cleaning world. Top tip, after a roast or something along those lines, when your kitchen is clean fill your sink with hot water chuck in a capful of zoflora and it totally gets rid of any greasy food smells x
