Weekend Style #19

Weekend style is back!! Can you believe that the the last style post was before Christmas, you can read that one here. The fact of the matter is that I've been giving myself weekends off blogging as I've been getting pretty bogged down with it all so needed the weekends to chill but I'm back in the flow of things (just about) and have some lovely outfits to feature over the next few weeks so am looking forward to sharing them with you!

I popped into Matalan last week, I don't often get to go to Matalan but I think over the past couple of years their clothes, especially baby clothes have improved massively! When I saw this little short dungaree set I fell in love, it is absolutely gorgeous and I adore the pop of colour with the red tights. The one and only thing I have to grumble about is the fact that there are no poppers on the shorts meaning at nappy changes the whole lot has to come off..........slight pain in the arse as you can imagine!

Girls Heart Printed Dungarees with Tights - Matalan (£10.00 for set)

Headband - I think Claire's Accessories but can't quite remember

The 2nd outfit I am featuring this week is this little dress that I managed to pick up in the John Lewis Sale. I thought that there sale was one of the best in January and I definitely spent too much BUT I managed to get Elarna loads of stuff in the next size for half the price so in my eyes that's a winner! I love the colour of this dress and the cute pattern, I always love to put her in pink as you probably know but I also love her in green, I added a simple pair of tights with the cute shoe design on them for added warmth.

Patterned Dress - John Lewis (clearance) - Out of stock sadly

Tights - M&S (I think!)

The last outfit I am featuring was another sale buy but I am beyond gutted. Like an idiot I just grabbed a load of washing in similar colours and whacked in the washing machine not at all thinking to check in labels which to be fair I normally do. Anyway you can imagine what happened, this lovely dungaree set being wool has shrunk to the size of a newborn baby, I was so cross, it was £16.00 in the sale and she only had it on once. I searched online but nowhere has any stock of 9-12 months, I even emailed John Lewis to see if any of their stores have any stock but no luck. So this is an SOS, if anyone has or sees this lovely set in 9-12 months please do let me know!

What do you think of this weeks outfit choices?

I think the last one is my fave, such a lovely colour. Ahh that's so annoying about the accident with the washing machine :/ She is such a little sweetie - she's so good at posing for photos :) Thanks so much for linking up with us and hope you're having a great weekend! #weekendtotstyle

  9. I love dungarees (in general, really, but especially on babies and toddlers) so it's a real shame they shrank.

  11. I love dungarees but it is a pain when they don't have poppers. And that's such a shame about the wool ones, I hope you manage to find another pair somewhere. #FunkyKidFriday
