Exante Diet Meal Replacement - Review

I'm sure I'm not the only one to say that sometimes I'm willing to try diets to see if it offers a 'quick fix' that is often desired.  When I was offered the chance to try the Exante Diet after the Christmas over indulgence I jumped at the chance.

So what is Exante?
Exante is a low calorie meal replacement diet that claims to be simple to follow and has effective results. Exante so you don't have the hassle of calorie counting or any of those faffy things you often have to do when it comes to dieting. You simply follow an Exante diet plan suitable for you  which consists of having 3 Exante products per day and accompanying this with at least 2-4 litres of water per day. Having 3 of the meal replacement products per day provides you with 100% of your RDA (recommended daily allowance) for minerals, vitamins and minerals.

About Exante;
The products that Exante offer as you can see above consist of a mixture of soups, shakes, bars, porridge and ready meals in a variety of flavours so there is plenty of choice to appeal, not only that it is a low cost diet to follow starting at £3.97 per day. One thing I did like was the choice of flavours of products that are offered. I particularly liked the toffee caramel shakes and the snack bars, I found them quite easy to tolerate. The ready meals were quite bland and I felt I needed to pep them up some what to make them a bit more palatable. As mentioned previously the Exante provides the dieter with 100% of the RDA of vitamins and minerals and some of these included are Vitamins B6, B12, Vitamin C and Iron.

Was it easy to follow?
Absolutely!! I had no issues following the regime the only thing was I was soooo hungry!!! To achieve the Exante diet I definitely think you need to be 'the zone', you need to be committed and really want to lose the weight, I really struggled in the middle of the week and missed having a proper meal. I believe that if you really commit to it you would lose a fair amount of weight. I lost about 2lbs in total in the time that I tried it but in my line of work I found it quite tricky to stick to and I needed to have something while I was driving around in the car visiting people.

Overall I think Exante appeals on many levels, it's easy to follow, low cost and has the potential to really help lose the weight. Please remember that before embarking on any weight loss it is advisable to seek the advice of a healthcare professional.

  1. I trialled the Exante diet, too ( here: http://www.fatgirlslim.org/product-review-the-exante-diet ), and I'm amazed how many other people I've seen who said they also found it was really easy to follow. :) What did you think of the flavours?
