The wine I have chosen this week is a crisp and fresh Chilean Sauvignon Blanc. Perfect for the gorgeous summery evenings we've had over the last couple of days.

I do tend to pick Sauvignons when I'm choosing white whites, I think it's because they are zingy and crisp and easy to drink, I do try and choose different grape varieties but the Sauvignon is one my favourites. This isn't the best Sauvignon I've tried but it's certainly not the worst. The tasting notes describe it as 'balanced, fresh and full of citrus and tropical fruits with a refreshing fruity finish'. It's certainly citrussy and lovely and fresh, perfect with light summer meals.
I purchased this particular wine from Tesco's for half price at £4.49 which is a great offer.
Roll on next weekend for more wine adventures!
