You know that moment when you wash your hair, it turns ratty and ming and you try and drag a brush or a comb through it and it kind of gets stuck. Yeah that. This used to happen to me ALL the time, I would literally be in tears at times, however this was before I was introduced to the life saver known as the tangle teezer. I have been using a tangle teezer for many years now and I swear by it for my naturally curly frizzy hair. When I was offered to review and hold a competition for a teezer I could hardly refuse as my old one was way past its best.
For those that aren't familiar with tangle teezer a little bit of info - founded in 2007 by inventor and hair colourist Shaun T he realised that throughout his career tangles and knots were the bane of his life and this is how the beginning of the tangle teezer was born. For more information on the development of the product check out this timeline it's pretty cool to see how far it has come over the past few years.
Ergonomically designed to fit in the palm of the hand it is simple to use, the innovative detangling teeth on it easily go through the hair painlessly and without damaging it. Prior to using these I would dread washing my hair as it was a real battle with a comb to to combat my frizz and curls, it was pretty horrendous. I can honestly say that nowadays it is a far less stressful experience and my hair is in a much better condition since I've been using a teezer.
As you can see my hair is pretty frizzy and curly when drying, erghhh. |
The tangle teezer is available to purchase in the colours of the rainbow and more. There are more designs and options than you can shake your tail feather at. There is a huge variety to choose from and I'm certain that there is one for everybody and any hair type. With a starting retail price of £10.60 I feel this is a very reasonable price for the amount that I use it.
If you like the look of a Tangle Teezer then I am offering one of my lovely readers the chance to win one. Entry will be via the rafflecopter below and is open to UK entries only please. Have a read of the entry requirements on the rafflecopter and please do leave a valid email and twitter name so I can contact you should you be lucky enough to win.
Good luck!
* Please note I was very kindly sent a Tangle Teezer free of charge in exchange for an unbiased post/competition - all thoughts and opinions are that of my own and I genuinely do love the product!
