Blokpod Review & Competition

Remember when I wrote this post....... 'why I hate lego'? Well there may be a solution to my woes. Say hello to blokpod

Blokpod is a revolutionary sorting and storage device. The concept of blokpod absolutely appeals to those with a slightly obsessive nature of sorting things........I mention no names, no names at all (ermmmm me?!).

Blokpod is designed to make tidying fun, storage of bricks or other toys unique and sorting of blocks and lego an enjoyable experience. We don't have a huge amount of Lego but the Lego we do have is a mixed selection that drives me crazy. What I love about blokpod is being able to chuck it all in the top and gently give it a shake and watching it sort the bricks. It's a very simple concept, the 3 colourful dividers have different sized grids to sort the bricks by shape and size. The larger bricks remain in the top whilst the smaller bits tumble through to the middle and bottom section......brilliant! Though for £34.99 it ought to be pretty special........

Each section twists open to reveal the bricks that have been sorted ensuring that it's easy for the Lego to be picked out and used. It's functional while looking stylish, I love that it's transparent, I think it looks really funky and being able to watch the bricks being sorted is pretty cool! Blokpod is also incredibly tough and made of durable plastic to withstand many a toddler tantrum, good job really!

It's pretty decent in size, when it arrived I was quite surprised at just how big it is, I was expecting something alot smaller, it can fit around 2000 bricks in it! The good thing about blokpod is that you can continue to add to it as your Lego collection grows, which is a brilliant idea!

I did find that there were a small amount of escapees that fell through right to the bottom layer, I expect that I might have given it a bit too much of a vigorous shake. A gentle shake is all that is needed to sort out the items inside. Not only could blokpod be used for bricks but it has a multitude of uses, it could be used to store and sort household items, baking items or even other toys, the possibilities are endless.

Blokpod is available to buy from Amazon for a sum of £34.99 (please see link below and if you do decide you'd like to buy clicking through this link will give me a few pennies at no cost to you whatsover, thanks very much!).

However blokpod are very kindly giving one of my readers the chance to win their very own blokpod. 22. I like it - and can definitely see benefits for making the lego a bit safer for my younger tot - ie give it a shake, give the big bits only to my little tot. Tiny bits are safely held in a separate section which Mummy can control with the bigger tot? It does sound a bit pricey, but the tidy fanatic in me could easily justify that! (Besides - lego in pod means lego not in foot causing agony = winning!)
    Thanks for hosting xx
