The History of Strictly.

I have been a fan of Strictly Come Dancing since it began, 13 series ago (I can hardly believe it!). I love everything about it, the costumes, the dances, the make up, the celebs and the whole glitter and sparkle that surrounds it. I look forward to chilling out on a Saturday evening, glass of wine in hand, kids in bed ready to watch it. It is my perfect Saturday night!

There have been some amazing moments over the years, some stick out in my mind more than others......who can forget Anton Du Beke dragging Ann Widdecombe across the floor like a sack of potatoes! Some of my favourite dances over the years have to be Mark Ramprakash and Karen Hardy's Argentine Tango, or Alesha Dixon and Matthew Cutlers jive or Ola Jordan and Chris Hollins super cute Charleston. I also adored Caroline Flack last year, she was so good.........just so many memories! This year I have been loving Jay McGuiness and Aliona Vilani, I love her choreography and he is amazing.

This fab info graphic has been produced by Great British Bingo and looks back over some of these amazing moments.

Strictly is truly one of those classic, iconic TV programme's that I think will continue to run for several more years, it has that winning formula.....plus for me it signals the start of the Christmas countdown! Eek!

What has been your favourite Strictly memory? Who do you think might win this year?
