Wine of the Week - Frizzante

I've been quiet on my Wine of the Week posts simply because our wine supplies had been dwindling!! Thankfully we managed to do a booze stop at Cite Europe before we caught the Ferry home. How we managed to fit the amount we bought in an already packed to the brim car I do not know.....but somehow we did!

The weekend just gone I enjoyed a rather nice Frizzante. These wines are less sparkly than Champagnes and have small bubbles. This was a lovely fruity pink wine which was nice to drink and I thoroughly enjoyed every single glass :-) (I never drink the whole bottle myself it is generally shared with Adi just in case anyone think I'm a raving alcoholic!).

I wish I'd bought more but sadly I only bought 1 bottle (what was I thinking?!). We did buy plenty more though so lots more wines to be featured in the next few months.

What do you think of Frizzante?

  1. Never even heard of it but looks lovely!

  2. Great post! How nice it is to see that wine bottle and glasses on the wooden table I must say. I am a huge fan of wine and I love to prepare my own wine at home. Most of the people think that preparing wine is a quite difficult task, but let me tell you it is quite interesting and fun as it only requires few equipments. With wine making you will come to know the various flavors and experiencing such versatile flavors will increase your knowledge about wine.

I absolutely love it when someone leaves me a comment, I will always reply back when possible! You can also follow me on twitter for more beautiful chatter: @Helsy_1983
