My likes, loves and loathes are a little bit late this week, I've not been feeling great recently so my blogging has lapsed somewhat, hoping to be back to it soon!

Here are my latest likes, loves and loathes.

Liking: Now we are coming to the end of August I can start my holiday countdown (amongst other things!), I know it's only been a couple of months since our last holiday but I needed something to look forward to so I booked another! We are heading to Normandy for a week, the weather will probably be much the same as here but it will  just be nice to get away for some family time which we need.

Loving: Countryside walks, Autumn is fast approaching and it's one of my favourite times of the year, I love walking through the Countryside and Alfie really enjoys it too, I can't wait for the leaves to fall from the trees and Alfie can kick his way through them he will have so much fun.

Loathing: The endless washing pile, it just seems to never go down and even when I do finally see the bottom of the washing basket within 24 hours it's full again. I do not know how we create so much washing!

So here are my likes, loves and loathes. What are yours?

UK Breakaways Competition

How do you fancy winning yourself some cash to have a break away? I know I would! I really enjoy holidaying in the UK, yes of course it's nice to go abroad but there are so many lovely areas of the UK to visit and explore and you can have a really lovely time away, UK weather permitting!

I have so many places  that I have enjoyed visiting over the years within the UK but I think my entry would have to be about North Yorkshire, I've spent many a years from my childhood to adulthood thoroughly enjoying family time amongst the beautiful scenery and numerous attractions that Yorkshire has to offer.

Competition

So what do you have to do to enter?

UK Breakaways would like you to share your passion and love for a UK destination by writing a 600 word blog post, this could be a guide to the destination, things to do and see, top ten attractions or just why you love the area! Be as original and creative as you like but it must be an original post and not  have been posted elsewhere.

All the relevant information can be found on the UK Breakaways website with more guidance on how to enter.

Good luck!!!

Hello again Tuesday, we meet again!!! I'm here and I'm writing my likes, loves and loathes for this week.

Liking: Family time. It was my parents Ruby Wedding Anniversary last week and we went for lunch with some close family on Sunday, it was lovely to see them and with everything that goes on throughout the year I don't often get to see them so it was thoroughly lovely.

Loving: I am loving, or actually obsessing over those dusty, floury old style milk bottle sweets, oh they are so good I could eat bags of them I'm sure!! Yum, yum, yum,  yum.

Loathing: Feeling exhausted, recently I keep having waves of tiredness creeping up on me, the other night I was asleep by 10pm! Then as soon as I fell asleep it was morning again. When will I win the lottery so I don't have to work?!

So there are my likes, loves and loathes for the weeks. What are you liking, loving and loathing?

Sephora Make Up Haul

While in France I always have to track down a Sephora (it's a necessity!), they are amazing, packed full of high quality brands of cosmetics and skin care and for fairly reasonable prices. Like I've said in previous posts I am like a child in a sweet shop when it comes to shopping for cosmetics! So this time I dragged my poor hubby round several, every time we visited somewhere I managed to find a Sephora!

So as you can see in the picture below I did come back with a few extra items of make up which I was very pleased with!

So what did I buy?

Nars Blush in Orgasm: Oh my god how I have not had this product in my life before?!! It is a gorgeous pink blush crammed full of shimmer particles that is simply gorgeous when worn. Love, love, love!

Givenchy Le Prisme Eye Quad: This is a super cute eyeshadow quad featuring four pretty shimmery shades. Nestled underneath the palette is a little draw that you pull out to reveal some teeny tiny little eyshadow brushes. As soon as I picked it up I couldn't put it down, it had to come home with me! Plus it was in the sale which was even better!

Benefit Erase Paste: I'm already a lover of Benefit Boing concealer so I decided to have a go with Erase Paste. Obviously the Benefit packaging is just gorgeous and hard to resist! I love the little spatula that comes included in the box, I find that I use the Erase Paste more if I want a bit more of a heavier coverage, I really like it.

Next I chose a new Primer and with being a lip balm obsessive I had to buy one to test it out! I do seem to have quite a collection of primers now and I haven't quite decided which one I prefer, this one is lovely though and gives a fantastic base before applying foundation. The lip balm is really nice and moisturising so a nice addition to my little stash!

I naturally had to buy a nail polish while I was there and I picked up a fab Nails Inc Polish in St. James Park which was also in the sale, it practically jumped into my basket! It's a gorgeous colour, I've been wearing it loads already since I've been home.

I also picked up some Quick Dry Nail Oil as I've been wanting to dry it for ages, the reason I have two is I dropped the first one on the floor spilling about 1/4 of the bottle and I ended up loving it so much I thought I better stock in case my clumsiness strikes again. I also picked up a pot of Express Nail Polish Remover, I am big fan of these little pots that remove nail polish quickly, I also find that they leave my nails feel really moisturised too. I also grabbed a Nail Polish Corrector Pen, these are so handy to tidy up any little messes or mistakes once I've painted my nails, a must have!

Lastly I picked up a little bottle of Bumble and Bumble Hair Oil this is a great product and a little goes a long way, I can already see a difference in the dry areas of my hair and with continued use  think it will be really beneficial to my hair. Lastly I also picked up a little Sephora Fragrance Spritzer and this was in the sale for about 3 Euros, it smells gorgeous and is perfect for popping in the pocket of my work uniform to give myself a quick spray to freshen up!

I am already having Sephora withdrawal symptoms!! Roll on my next visit to France so I can stock up again on some 'essentials'!

Tuesday has rolled around once again and I realise that I haven't posted much on my blog since last week, I have got a few posts scheduled so hopefully I'll be back on the ball soon!

What am I liking, loving and loathing this week?

Liking: Last week I was loathing potty training but this week is going much better and Alfie is having loads more wee's in the potty and is wearing big boy pants with less resistance now! He is beginning to be able to communicate to us much more when he needs a wee and gets a Thomas the Tank Engine sticker for every wee he does in the potty, here's hoping it continues to go in the right direction.

Loving: It's nearly time for our meal at The Waterside Inn, Bray for our fourth wedding anniversary, I'm very excited!! We have eaten at many lovely restaurants over the years, some Michelin starred some not but this will be out first three Michelin star restaurant that we've been too and we're staying the night which is even better! Photos and review to come soon!

Loathing: Waiting for things, I am incredibly impatient and hate having to wait for things whether it be post, a parcel to arrive or for Adi to come home from work. Waiting sucks.

So there we have my latest likes, loves and loathes. What are yours?

I'm late again with my likes, loves and loathes *slaps hand*. I still can't believe how fast the days are flying by and here I am writing the latest LLL post again!

So what am I liking, loving and loathing this week?

Liking: I like very much  being able to hang my washing out in the sun and it drying super quickly! It means I can get more loads of washing done and put away instead of it clogging up the spare room. I've no idea how we create so much washing, but every day there seems to be at least one lot to do, nightmare!

Loving: I am loving that Alfie is becoming more cuddly, he is beginning to run to me and give me a big cuddle with his arms right around my neck saying ahhhhh. It's so adorable, my heart literally bursts with love!

Loathing: Potty training, erghh. I thought it might be slightly easier, I think I was deluded! Alfie has been doing ok with it, we've had a few wee's on the potty but we've had equally just as many on the floor! Bless him, he's very proud of himself when he does wee on the potty and we are too but I think it's going to be a long process till he's fully potty trained!

These are my latest likes, loves and loathes for this week. What are yours?
