I wanted to breastfeed and intended to do so for at least 6 months. It did not work out that way and like you I was becoming resentful so my husband has the sense to insist on me starting bottle-feeding. I think that saved my sanity at the time and reassured me that my baby was getting nourishment. Breast has to be best for the baby but not for the mum sometimes and good enough sometimes has to do. #BloggersBestkateonthinicehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08506288402799764435noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-960129283945951675.post-3222391182767466532018-08-22T23:09:15.223+01:002018-08-22T23:09:15.223+01:00You do what you need to do and don't let anyon...You do what you need to do and don't let anyone tell you how to provide for your baby. <br />Tracy www.viewfromthebeachchair.com #bloggersbestFirst Grade Classhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01914034784726336000noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-960129283945951675.post-21563207498459659202018-08-22T15:13:20.248+01:002018-08-22T15:13:20.248+01:00Oh gosh I can so identify with this post. I often asked my sister questions and she helped with the latching a few times. I think that yes, while you do want to raise a healthy, happy child, I would never opt to formula feed if I had it to do over again. So I'd go through the pain of having sore and chapped nipples all over again. However, feeding in public, it wasn't that bad because I always had a cover over my child so you couldn't see my boob in their mouths when it was feeding time.Alice Vhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07667850879473693720noreply@blogger.com
