Pulp Wine Subscription* Review *

If there was a subscription box designed for me then Pulp Wine has to be it. Seriously, a wine subscription I kid you not. On a Friday evening there is simply nothing better than I like to do than curl up on the sofa with a crisp glass of  white, ahhh bliss.

The Pulp wine subscription box offers you the chance of tasting and scoring 2 demi bottles of white and red wine a month. Perfecto! What's not to like?

The subscription boxes look like these. Two well presented boxes of red and white wine.  The idea is very simple try each one then compare and mark your scores. While tasting the wines you can learn at the same time, you can learn the basics to the more complex information. You can be sure that at the end of your tasting you will know what wine can be paired with what food, the wine regions and even wine making! You can sure to be a connoisseur at the end of your tasting experience!

We were sent 4 lovely bottles to test and rate, it was a real chore to test them I'm sure you can imagine......a real effort. Once you've tested the wines out you simply log into your account and rate your wines, the idea behind this is you can then start to build up your own personalised wine profile noting your likes and dislikes. I loved this idea as sometimes I forget what I like and dislike!

Personally I tend to prefer white wines while my husband veers more towards red. I was pleasantly surprised by the reds that were sent and found them very drinkable. The whites were also lovely, the Sauvignon was particularly nice.

I think the Pulp wine subscription boxes are a fabulous idea and would make a very unique and interesting gift. The cost of the boxes start from £34.  Do I think this is good value for money? Perhaps not when you consider the average price for 2 bottles you can buy in your local supermarket, however with Pulp you are paying for not only the wine but the experience of wine tasting in your own home with a ton of information to go with it. You're not just paying for any old couple of bottles of wine you're paying for quality and to spend some time enjoying these wines and learning about them.

So if I have enticed you with the thoughts of having wine delivered to you on a monthly basis I strongly suggest you head on over and check out Pulp wine. Drink responsibly peeps!

* Please note we were kindly sent a subscription box for free in exchange for a review. These are my honest thoughts, let's face it I would never lie when it comes to wine!

  3. What a fab idea but agree it does sound a bit pricey when I'm partial to Aldi wine under £4 a bottle! Thanks for hosting #bestandworst

  9. I'm not a big fan of wine, or alcohol in general (I know, I know!) However, this does look lovely and sounds like a great idea for people who do like it. #BestandWorst
