Glossybox February 2016 - Review

Love is in the air with this months Glossybox......well it has been Valentine's Day this month! So this month Glossybox are bringing to us our beauty soul mates, how divine!

I do love when it is a themed box, partly because I love to see a change in the usual pink box, how cute is this months box, definitely embracing the love vibe.

First impressions of this box are good. A little bit repetitive to other boxes that I've received in the past but I've been subscribed for a while now so it's no surprise that this often happens.

First up how gorgeous are these tweezers? Let's face it you can't ever have enough tweezers....I'm forever losing them so pleased to have a funky new pair! Browtician Love Skull Tweezers (RRP £7.99), a great item to be in this months box.

The 2nd item is a Wilkinson Sword Intuition Razor (RRP £ 6.99). Initially I was pleased to receive a new razor...however I remember getting a similar one in a previous box and once I started to use it I remembered that I hate these razors! They are too chunky meaning they are hard to hold, I feel they don't give a decent shave and the moisturising core disappears within a few uses. Disappointing item.

The 3rd item that caught my eye is a brand that was introduced to me via Glossybox, I've had a few items from the brand Naobay and I really rate them, I think they are really great products. Naobay Protective Hair Mask Volume Conditioner (RRP £10.64), I've yet to try this but I'm looking forward to giving it a go.

The next item is a brand new to me. Nicka K New York 24H Waterproof Eyeliner (RRP £3.99), I use eyeliner everday so adding to my collection is always useful! This ones comes with a smudger (love it) and an inbuilt sharpener (always handy), I've also found this is really good as an eyebrow pencil as well as an eyeliner so pretty multi functional, a nice item considering the price.

The final item is from what I would class a budget beauty brand. MUA Power Pout Low Voltage Gloss (nude shade RRP £3.50). I have to admit when I first saw this I thought it wasn't going to suit me but actually it just adds a really nice gloss to the lips....admittedly I feel it's a tad sticky but for day to day wear this is absolutely perfect. Quite a nice item to receive.

Overall a nice box, other than the razor I really did like it. All full size items which is fantastic and a nice range of products.

  1. Gorgeous design! I used to be subscribed to Glossybox but I sort of lost the excitement after a few boxes sadly. Love those tweezers though and I do miss the monthly treat just for me. Thanks for linking up to #MarvMondays. Kaye xo
