Cohorted Beauty Box August 2015 - Review

Now I was slightly more organised this month to get my hands on one of the Cohorted beauty boxes. These boxes are very popular and do tend to sell out quickly, so as sad as it may be, I had a reminder in my phone and was on my computer at 6pm on the dot to make sure I had my order in!

If you read my review of the July box you'll know that I was impressed. It was my first Cohorted box, I had no idea what I was going to receive and I was thrilled with the contents. Cohorted seem to be the box to get at the moment, beautiful looking and full of high-end quality products for a very reasonable price of £19.99 (excluding p&p).

One thing I like about these boxes is there are NO spoilers so I genuinely have no idea what is going to be sent, it's exciting opening the box and wondering what's going to be inside.

This month there were five items in the box, the menu card tells me that the box has a value of £66.00 and the items included in the box can also be purchased on the Cohorted website.

Anyway I'll stop yapping now and get on with what was actually in this months box!

First up I was super excited to see one of my favourite brands. Bare Minerals Soft Focus Face Brush (RRP £20.00), I love the brand and this brush is gorgeous, it's really soft and a great item to be sent. I'm always after some nice brushes to add to my beauty collection and this one is perfect for applying my Bare Minerals powder.

Second item was a beautiful eyeshadow palette. Cargo Eye Colour Quad Palette (RRP £10.00) is four beautiful pinky toned shadows, I really like wearing this colour so for me it's perfect and they apply really nicely. Super happy with this item.

The next item in the box is another eyeshadow. Laura Geller Baked Impressions Duo in Fine Wines (RRP £15.00) is a hybrid baked-pressed eyeshadow, firstly it's so cute to look at with a pretty grapevine pattern on the shadow itself. The colours are similar to the Cargo palette but are not shimmery. Nice item to be in the box.

The fourth item was another Bare Minerals wahoo! Bare Minerals Bare Escentuals i.d BareVitamins Skin Rev-er Upper (RRP £15.00). I haven't used this item before but I generally love any Bare Minerals product. This is designed to smooth away flaky skin, fine lines, absorb excess oil and reduce the appearance of enlarged pores. On first use I thought it smelt quite strong, I have no idea whether it's supposed to smell like that or not! I look forward to trying this out under foundation.

There was also a little sample of Molton  Brown Relaxing Yuan Zhi Body Cream (small sample size received, RRP 30ml £6.00). I love Molton Brown products, especially their body cream so this will get used in quickly, shame it's not full size!

Overall, another great box from Cohorted, great products from great brands for a perfectly decent price. I've already reserve myself the September box, can't wait to see what they have in store then! I wish they'd hurry up and sort their subscription out because I'm definitely signing up!

What do you think of the August Cohorted box? Yay or nay?
